Superbowl - Broncos take the win

Well our boys finished the season undefeated. The season was rough and I'm glad it's over but I also miss it just a little bit. I think Ethan will be playing again next season, which a couple of weeks before the end of the season he definitely wasn't going to play. I'm not sure why or what changed his mind.

I took lots of pictures, over 600, so I'm going to try and post just a few of my favorites.

Team Party

We had our team party at Showplace. It certainly wasn't as fun as the party at Nickelrama but it was fun to go back to where Craig and I met.

Perhaps a new sleeping arrangement

A couple of times last week we had a new sleeping arrangement in this house. Emerson shifted form our room to Ethan's, it was so sweet. Ethan read her a good night story and after several reminders to stay in bed I was able to snap this picture.

Ethan got to have a first

Ethan had his first sleep over this weekend. His best buddy Lucas came over and spent the night Friday. I was on pens and needles all day. I was nervous and Ethan and Emerson were nothing but excited. He couldn't wait for his friend to get there. They played for a bit and then around 11:30 I got them settled down for a movie. I was hoping that the movie would keep them still enough to fall asleep but that didn't really happen. Around 12:30 I got Emerson to sleep with Craig and set in for the long haul with the kiddos. They almost outlasted me but were finally out around 2.



But, I guess that is what sleep overs are all about talking and giggling late into the night. They were up by 9:30 the next morning and played and played.

Silver

Since football is over Ethan finally got to move up and the  best part of all - he gets to be in Coach Tommy's class. He has wanted to be in Tommy's class since he started at ASI in August 09. For the longest time he blamed me for not letting him be in his class, in actuality he wasn't old enough yet. He had to be 5. When Ethan turned 5 and moved to bronze he was a little disappointed because it turned out that Tommy didn't teach them.

After class, Tommy told me that Ethan will probably move up quickly again. He would have been in Bronze for 1 month but because of football season he had to wait 3 months. I'm interested to see how long Ethan stays in this level and what happens after Gold.
